As a non-selective school, a valuable measure of success is how individual pupils perform compared with other children of the same ability level nationally. Comparing a pupil’s performance on entry to Sixth Form with actual grades at A Level or BTEC Level 3 shows the real value the Sixth Form education at St David’s College has added.
Our Sixth Form consistently scores above Wales and the UK average for Value Added, with exceptional results over the last 5 years for L3 BTECs, where pupils achieve almost one whole grade higher on average than their academic peers in other schools and colleges nationally.
