St David’s College corridors were alive this Easter break as year 11 pupils took advantage of our dedicated Easter Revision Camp.
This residential intensive support programme gave pupils the opportunity to stay over and focus on Maths, English, and Science in preparation for their upcoming exams this Summer.
Students took part in a wide-ranging and varied activities schedule between sessions culminating in a trip to Alton Towers on the last day as a reward for their efforts over the week.
Whilst lunch was provided, evening meals were a team effort with pupils taking turns to cook for each other.
Organised by Mr. Andrew Goodwin, Head of Science, the Revision Camp has been a great success with plans to lay on more in the future.
Mr. Goodwin said “I’m really pleased with the way that everything has come together. The pupils have been fantastic. They’ve turned up with the right attitude, engaged with the teachers, and made the most of their time. It’s great to see their hard work and dedication, especially as they’re giving up their Easter Break.”
“I’d like to thank all of the staff who have given up their time to make this a reality. It’s been a great success and is hopefully just the beginning for camps like this”
Well done everyone.
