Forest bathing activities may significantly improve people’s physical and psychological health.
Year 9 pupils recently spent a day in beautiful woodland in the Conwy Valley.
They had to leave their phones behind so that every moment could be savoured without any distractions.
Head of Middle School Luke Pettitt said:
“It was just a brilliant day; we lay on our backs for about 10 minutes just to listen to birdsong and the sounds of the woods.
And added:
“Forest bathing has now been recognised as being really good for wellness.
“Where we go also has a firepit so we cooked burgers and drank hot chocolate and Ian Martin even brought along his guitar, I think everyone enjoyed it.”
