St David's College GCSE Results 2022

St David’s College is delighted to announce an excellent set of GCSE and BTEC Level 2 results from our year 11 group

Our pupils have demonstrated real drive and determination in challenging circumstances, and the results reflect this. 78% of St David’s pupils achieved 5 or more GCSEs & BTEC Level 2 at A*-C or the equivalent, with 22% of grades awarded being A* - A or the equivalent.

Our English results were exceptional with 31% of grades returned at A*-A and 93% achieving at least a C grade. This was complemented by our outstanding results form our Science Department where the Double Award Science achieved 38% A*-A and 88% at A*-C.

Our Design Technology Department returned incredibly strong results with 15 of 17 of grades returned at A*-C. Fantastic work that we should all be incredibly proud of.

Stand out performances came from James Taylor has achieved outstanding results having been awarded seven A*s, one A’s and a Distinction in Additional Maths. Oliver Chandran earned three A*s, four A’s, and two B’s. Naomi Smith earned an A* in Art & Design and English Literature, three A’s, and three B’s; and Billy Griffiths achieved a Merit in Performing Arts, three A’s and three B’s. Scott Hewitt earned one A* and six A’s that were complemented by a Merit in BTEC Engineering, a very strong set of results indeed. This was echoed by Eleri Thomas who achieved a A Grade in Design Technology and a Distinction in BTEC Engineering. Well done everyone!
