Heartbreak for our footballers
St David's 1st Football Team played Ysgol Aberconwy and started proceedings with style with an excellent header by Elliot Goddard within the first 40 seconds!

Overall, an excellent performance whereby St. David's pushed Aberconwy all the way in an exciting match. Elliot Goddard opened the scoring within the first 40 seconds with a well taken header.
Elliot Goddard opened the scoring within the first minute with a well taken header. Further goals came from Charlie Russell and Yannis Nugent-Zambakides to put us 3-2 in the lead with 15 minutes to play. Unfortunately, we could not hang on to the lead and conceded two late goals to go down 4-3.
A special mention goes to Elliot, who, in true St. David's style went from goal scorer to goalkeeper in the second half. Player of the Match was Eddie Robertson and another mention for James Roberts who broke his forearm within a tackle when providing an assist for one of our goals. We wish him a speedy recovery.
