All girls eligible to represent Wales were on show across multiple age groups.Emily played in two games, one in her own age group and another playing two years up
She represented herself, St David’s College, and her region admirably in the blistering heat.
Emily plays for North Wales Girls Academy with the Welsh Football Association, she’s an Under 13 player but has played the full season in the Under 14 team, such are her footballing skills.
She’s been playing football since the age of five, and has played for both Chester City and Liverpool FC!
Next year she will continue with the North Wales regionals, doing a day release programme, training on a Tuesday at Collier’s Park Wrexham, as well as Wednesday and Friday evenings and games on a Sunday. Phew Emily!
Hopefully she can make the national squad for a UEFA tournament in the summer.
Her proud father, Darren, said: “The school has been magnificent in supporting her development, especially the PE department.”
This year Emily has represented St David’s College at Netball, Football, Athletics, Rugby, Cricket, Cross-Country and Basketball. Excellent stuff Emily, and all the best of luck in getting into the Wales national squad.
