The children have had great fun learning to use all the equipment in the labs and learning about safety
Using all the new skills they have learnt they’ve been looking at particle theory and states of matter.
Head of biology, Mrs Steph Stevenson, said: “To support these new ideas we have done lots of fun practicals from making rockets, collapsing cans and exploding coke and mentos to demonstrate the effect of air pressure.
“We aim to do as much practical work as we can both in and outside of the classroom to foster a sense of awe and wonder in science.”
