"They will be a formidable team next year"
They faced formidable competition from the other outstanding candidates Billy Griffiths, James Taylor, Charlie Russell, William McGreevy and Maria Kazala Laski
Headmaster Mr Andrew Russell said: “It was so heart-warming to see them all hug and congratulate Eleri and Scott when the announcement was made. They will be a formidable team next year and young people to be very proud of.”
Eleri said: “Ever since Year Seven I've looked up to the head pupils and how they were able to uphold the school’s ethos perfectly.
“I especially looked up to my House Captains and how they showed compassion and loyalty to the house, I wanted to do the same for the whole school.”
“When Mr Russell told me I had got Head Girl at first I was shocked, as the other candidates had a very strong chance of getting the position.
“Now I feel excited as I will get to share these new experiences with my peers.”
Scott said: “I applied for Head Boy as I really want to give back to the St David’s community which has given so much to me, since I started my journey here back in Year 9.
“I feel very honoured and proud to be in this position, especially and because of this, I am even more determined to fulfil the role to the best of my ability.”
All of us at St David's College would like to congratulate them both.
