House Bouldering Competition 2024
Wednesday 31st January at The Boathouse Climbing Wall, Llandudno
House Bouldering Rules
- You can have a maximum sized team of 9 students, (with the top 6 scores counting)
- Any ages can take part, but there must be at least two girls or boys per team and no more than 3 pupils per year group
- 3 attempts per boulder problem
- 5 points per hand hold climbed
- 5 bonus points for completion on first try
Competition Timings
Cader – Departing SDC (outside Minstrel Hall) at 13:30 – returning at 14:45
Tryfan – Departing SDC (outside Minstrel Hall) at 14:15 – returning at 15:30
Snowdon - Departing SDC (outside Minstrel Hall) at 15:00 – returning at 16:15
At the Climbing Wall – Each house will have 45minutes to complete the boulder problems
Cader 13:45 – 14:30
Tryfan 14:30 – 15:15
Snowdon 15:15 – 16:00
All equipment provided - just bring a water bottle. (there will be room for a couple of spectators/photographers per house, but not loads!)
