Even after a long trip down and the obligatory stay in the 'Purple Palace' in Gloucester. The boys put together a great performance winning their first two games, easing their way into the sevens 'mode'
A glitch in the final game meant that the league went down to the wire, with St David's going through to play a large and well drilled Stonar school in the Cup Semi Final.
The game was dominated by our strong defence and highly efficient attack that scored with the possession they had, 12-5 at half time, the second half was a carbon copy and a Lynch try sealed the deal and even a late reply made it 19-10.
The final was a culmination of the day. The boys played with passion and solid defensive effort. Chadda, Olly HR strong in D and with strong carries, but the tank was empty and we went down 4 to 1, nothing but positives, nothing but amazing moments to build on.
Some amazing moments on the pitch.
Ben at 9 playing a blinder, Drinkwater a carrying machine, Louis B slaloming his way across the pitch.
🦁 Lion.
Jorgi Lynch. Led from the front. Never stopped encouraging his team, left nothing in the tank.
🍬 Harribo Hit.
Chadda as always playing with guts.
🍾 Champagne Moment.
Grayson. Beautiful individual, who tries like a magician.
