This week, parts of the UK were dazzled by the aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights, which were observed further south than their typical location. Ffion Wakeford (year 9) was in the right place and the right time to capture these wonderful pictures from her back garden in Llanfairfechan with nothing more than her mobile phone. Glimpses of these mesmerizing green and red flickering illuminations in the night sky were spotted as far South as Cornwall, and the North Wales Coastline had one of the best views in the country.

Today we celebrate the power of literature to transport us to new worlds, introduce us to new ideas, and inspire us to be our best selves. Our pupils and staff have gone above and beyond, dressing up as some of their most loved characters in literature.

Happy St David's Day to all our pupils, staff, and alumni! We gathered together in the Assembly Hall to celebrate our namesake and paid tribute by promoting his message of unity, kindness, and humility. Let's continue to spread these values in our community and beyond.

St David’s College would like to congratulate our Upper Sixth students who have applied to university and have all received offers.

The fact that they have all received offers demonstrates the strength of their applications.

Year 9 DT, Science, & Computer Science Day gave the pupils an introduction to the new Animal Management Course, jobs in Design and Technology and in Computer Science.

The North West Wales round of the ECB Girls School Indoor Cricket took place at the Dome in Bangor on Thursday 16^th Feb.

House Rugby returned with a bang last weekend, with Cader House taking the glory. It was fantastic to see so many parents, pupils and their friends coming to support the teams.
