Last month three St David’s College pupils attended the Welsh Alpine Championships at Les Crosets, Switzerland. Agatha Favill (yr9), Teagan Girling (yr10), and Louis Barclay (yr9) headed out to the Swiss Alps with the Welsh National Ski Team ahead of competing at the championships that saw school children from across the country in attendance. The 2023 Championships consisted of five days of competition with training facilities made available to clubs in the resort in the build-up to the championships.

We are having an impromptu Own Clothes Day this Friday. All proceeds will be donated to emergency crisis relief in Turkey and Syria. Parents can pay through Parent Pay or cash on the day.

Year 5 and 6 have been busily fundraising for a homeless charity in Llandudno called Hope Restored. Now the class is extending this fundraising challenge to the rest of the school!
Huge congratulations to Oliver Pearce (yr 8) for winning the ISA Young Musician of the Year award this afternoon. Oliver faced stiff competition from 38 pupils from across the UK. He delivered a virtuoso performance that impressed the judges and took home the top prize. Well done Oliver!

Our Sixth Form looked incredible as they all donned their finest last Friday for the annual Sixth Form Ball. The Committee, made up of the Head Boy & Head Girl along with their Prefects, worked tirelessly to plan and deliver the outstanding event held at the Imperial Hotel in Llandudno.
