St David’s College annual ski trip to the Italian resort of Ponte di Legno has been hailed a huge success, with 20 skiers from the school hitting the slopes during the half term break.

Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) around the world. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant — the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. Pi Day is an annual opportunity for maths enthusiasts to recite the infinite digits of Pi, talk to their friends about maths, and eat pie.

Yesterday, March 01, we celebrate St David’s Day, patron saint of Wales and our schools name sake. Years 5 & 6 gathered this morning in the Minstrel Hall with the rest of the school joining us online via Teams due to Covid precautions. Our Chaplin Mr. Edward Gray opened the assembly taking us through what this day means and why we celebrate it.
