Dyslexia Friendly Classrom

Last Tuesday, January 25, we held an internal training session organise by the British Dyslexia Association on the topic of a dyslexic friendly classroom. At St David's College we strive to use innovative techniques that facilitate learning and association of ideas for any of our students. We believe in people and the global set of their abilities, which is why helping students with dyslexia reaching their maximum potential is part of our DNA.

Molly's Artistic Journey

St David’s College is renowned for discovering and nurturing the talent of our pupils and nowhere is this more evident than in the case of Old Davidean Molly O’Leary.

Molly left the school this summer after studying A’levels in fine art, geography and English literature.

She is now at Lancaster University studying fine art and is enjoying every minute of it.

'Gold Standard'​ Outdoor Education

Following a period of rigorous inspection by the Association of Heads of Outdoor Education Centres (AHOEC), The Outdoor Education Department at St David’s College has been issued with their prestigious ‘Gold Standard’, which represents the highest award for quality Outdoor Education provision and Outdoor Learning.

Owain Evans Invited to Train with Wales U20 Rugby Squad

St David’s College is proud to reveal that one of our exceptionally talented young rugby stars has been training with the Wales Under-20 squad. Owain has also been selected for the squad to play against Scotland Development.

Merry Christmas!

Well, that’s that. The pupils have all gone home and the teaching staff are off for a well-earned Christmas break. Thank you to parents, pupils, and staff for their help and support over this term, we really couldn’t have done it without you. Stay safe, enjoy the holidays, and we’ll see you all in the New Year. Christmas Fayre is a huge hit!

Tryfan house captain Deanna Craven has been busy helping to organise the school’s Christmas Fayre. She has organised Science and Music stalls and even a Fair Trade chocolate fountain.

Christmas Carol Service 2021

Today saw the long-awaited return of the St David’s College Carol Service. This year St David’s returned to our regular venue at St Paul’s Church, Craig y Don, Llandudno.
